Each year several hundred Miatae gather in the mountains around Robbinsville, NC during the last weekend in July. The unofficial Miata count for 2001 was about 470. Once there, these strange Miata fanatics, er, enthusiasts, drive. A lot. Here are a few shots from Saturday's drive from Robbinsville to Franklin via Wayah Road (yum).
